Good Luck Ceremony For Grade XII

Life is about cherishing the past, making the present and relishing the future. Memories are a life-long treasure that make us blissful whenever recalled. School days are one of the most memorable memories of an individual’s lifetime. Saying goodbye is not easy but it is important to move ahead towards a glorious path. Thursday, 31 January 2019, turned out to be a very nostalgic day at Maxfort School, Rohini as the school organised, “Good Luck Ceremony-Hasta la Vista” for the graduating batch of the session 2018-19 under the resourceful guidance of respected Principal ma’am, Dr Ratna Chakravarty . The stars of the event were the twelthies clad in their finery. The special guests for the day were proud parents of these young and vibrant students who are on the threshold of completing their schooling. The serene programme started with the tilak ceremony of the senior most Maxfortians. The students and their parents were received with high spirits by the facilitators. The mesmerizing day began on a pious note with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by the honourable Principal Ma’am, Dr. Ratna Chakravarty, Headmistress ma’am, Ritu ma’am, Vardha ma’am and Head Girl Jahnvi Sharma. The special feature was the presentation of mementoes to the graduating students so that they remember their school days forever in their hearts. The ambience was illuminated with presentations like heart touching farewell song, vivacious dance and nostalgic skit. Respected Principal ma’am, in her enlightening words, inspired the Grade XII students to use their wisdom for a scintillating time ahead. She also wished the students good luck for the forthcoming AISSCE Board Examination and other future endeavours. To quote one of our parents Ms. Madhyan said, “Maxfort School, Rohini has empowered their children with strength and confidence to face life with the streak of courage and enthusiasm.” The speech by Head Girl Jahnavi Sharma and Head Boy Akshat Goyal made everybody realise that meeting and parting is the part and parcel of life. The vote of thanks for this extraordinary programme was proposed by the Vice Head Girl Yashaswani Kakkar. Eventually, it turned out to be a highly emotional day leaving everyone with tears in their eyes for ending of the school life and smiles on the faces with the dreams of an optimistic path of triumph. The celebration came to an end with refreshment hosted by the school for the students along with their parents who had added the spark on this occasion making it splendid with their galvanizing demeanour.
